Grant Application Outline
Please use the following outline to develop your grant request.
DESCRIPTION OF THE GRANT REQUEST:
- Describe the objective of the research
- Identify if the grant request involves the research and testing of new methodologies, techniques, or procedures in the valuation process
- Identify if the grant request is to research or test existing valuation methodologies
- Identify the public need or benefit the research will provide to the appraisal profession
- Identify how the research will have an impact on the appraisal community or the public at large
- Identify if the research is considered an emerging appraisal issue
TIMETABLE:
- Provide a timetable for the research project
BUDGET:
- Provide an estimation of the project costs, by general category
- Identify the timetable needed of fund distribution
- Identify the source of other funds applied for and committed to for this research
PROMULGATION OF RESULTS:
- Identify the anticipated method(s) for communicating and providing the results of the research to the appraisal profession or the public
APPLICANTS BACKGROUND:
- Provide the applicant’s resume

DEADLINES:
- Spring Meeting: Normally, applications for grants received before March 1 will be considered in the Spring Board Meeting. Applications received after March 1 will normally be considered in the Fall Board Meeting.
- Fall Meeting:Normally, applications for grants received before September 1 will be considered in the Fall Board Meeting. Applications received after September 1 will normally be considered at the Spring Board Meeting.
