Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings: A Guide for Appraisers was created by real estate journalist Kathy Price-Robinson through a grant from The Appraisers Research Foundation (TARF) .  This guide can be used as a reference by appraisers to recognize and identify green features in homes they are appraising.   Green features mean items that are more energy efficient, water efficient, resource efficient, durable, comfortable and healthier than those found in standard homes.
